Air traffic between France and foreign countries

Since June 9, 2021, the air traffic between France and foreign countries has been reopened according to modalities that vary depending on the health situation of each country and the vaccination of travellers.

A classification of countries has been defined on the basis of health indicators. It is likely to be adapted according to changes in the epidemic situation.

Green countries (Pays vert)

Anyone wishing to travel to Martinique from a country classified in the green zone must, if they are twelve years of age or over, present a proof of their vaccination status.

Travel to Martinique by people who do not have proof of their vaccination status are only authorized if they are based on an overriding personal or family reason, a reason for emergency health or a professional reason that cannot be postponed.

These people must be in possession of :

  • A documents justifying the reason for their trip.
  • The result of a biological virological screening examination (PCR test) carried out less than 72 hours before boarding not concluding that there is contamination by covid-19, or an antigen test allowing the detection of the N protein of SARS- CoV-2 less than 48 hours before boarding.
  •  A sworn statement attesting:
  1. Their acceptance to a possible screening test or examination to be carried out on their arrival in the national territory.
  2. Their agreement to an isolation of 7 days after their arrival and to carry out, at the end of this period, a new biological examination of virological screening

Unvaccinated minors do not have to present a vaccination certificate or self-isolate, if they are accompanying one or more vaccinated adults.

Orange countries (Pays oranges)

Anyone wishing to travel to Martinique from a country classified in the orange zone must, if they are twelve years of age or over, present:

  • The result of a biological virological screening examination (PCR test) carried out less than 72 hours before boarding not concluding that there is contamination by covid-19, or an antigen test allowing the detection of the N protein of SARS- CoV-2 less than 48 hours before boarding.
  • Proof of their vaccination status.

  • The place where they plan to carry out their isolation measure, as well as, if applicable, the minor person (s) accompanying them, (with proof to certify the address and accessibility for officers control).
