Vaccines approved in France :
The 5 vaccines accepted by France are those recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) :
These vaccines are the only ones recognized to enter Martinique.
Complete vaccination scheme :
A vaccinated person is a person who can attest to the completion of a complete vaccination schedule.
Persons 18 years of age or older who have received any of the listed vaccines must take an additional dose (messenger RNA ) at least 9 month after their last injection to keep their complete vaccination schedule.
Authorized tests :
The only antigenic tests that can be validly presented are those allowing the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 protein N.
Air Travel Arrangements for passengers to and from Martinique :
Transit passengers are subject to the travel regulations of the stopover destination. Airlines must ensure compliance with this measure during pre-boarding screening.
Unvaccinated minors can travel without compelling reasons, they do not have to present a vaccination certificate or self-isolate if they are accompanying a vaccinated adult.
Children under the age of twelve are exempt from testing. They must also report no symptoms of covid-19 infection or contact with a confirmed covid-19 case.
NB : Wearing of a mask is no longer mandatory in air transport. However, it remains an effective way to protect yourself and others in confined spaces.
Passengers travelling between Martinique and France Mainland :

Since February 1, 2022, in order for their vaccination scheme to remain complete , passengers aged eighteen or older wishing to enter the national territory must have received a dose of complementary messenger RNA vaccine no later than 9 months following the injection of the last dose of RNA vaccine required.
Passengers from and to Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy:
Passengers aged 12 and older who do not have a complete vaccination schedule or a certificate of recovery must present the result of an RT-PCR test (biological test for the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus genome on a nasopharyngeal sample) performed less than 72 hours prior to the flight that does not indicate infection with covid-19, or a negative result of a specific antigenic test (test for the detection of the N-protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus) performed less than 48 hours prior to the flight.
Passengers from French Guiana :
If they do not have a complete vaccination schedule, passengers aged 12 years and older must justify their travel by a compelling personal or family reason, an emergency health reason or a professional reason that cannot be postponed.
They must present the result of an RT-PCR test performed less than 72 hours prior to the flight, indicating no covid-19 contamination, or a negative result of a specific antigen test performed less than 48 hours prior to the flight.
Finally, they must present a sworn statement that
- they have no symptoms of Covid-19 infection
- that they are not aware of having been in contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the 14 days prior to the flight
- that they agree to have a screening test or examination performed upon arrival if they are 12 years of age or older,
Rules applicable to travels between Martinique and a green country :
Passengers aged 12 years or older traveling to France from a green country shall present, prior to boarding
₋ a proof of a complete vaccination, or
₋ a certificate of recovery, or
₋ the result of a biological examination of virological screening carried out less than 72 hours before the flight or the result of a test carried out less than 48 hours before the flight which does not conclude to a covid-19 contamination
Rules applicable to travels between Martinique and an orange country
Passengers aged 12 years or older that cannot provide a proof of a complete vaccination, traveling to France from an orange country or to an orange country from France, shall only be authorized to travel for the reasons listed in the applicable international travel certificates available on the internet (ministry of interior website). Supporting documents for the reason to travel shall be presented to the air carrier prior to boarding.
Passengers aged 12 years or older that cannot provide a proof of a complete vaccination traveling to France from an orange country shall present, prior to boarding :
The only tests accepted are those enabling the detection of the n protein of sars-cov-2. The list of accepted biological examinations of virological screening and tests is available on the internet (ministry of health website).
For travel from abroad, passengers may be authorized to derogate from the requirements of presenting a result of a biological examination of virological screening or a test prior to boarding if they present a permit issued by the french ambassy or general french consulates.
