Vaccines and Authorized Testing / Complete vaccination scheme

Vaccines approved in France :

The 5 vaccines accepted by France are those recognized by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) :

  • Pfizer,
  • Moderna,
  • AstraZeneca/Vaxzevria/Covishield,
  • Johnson & Johnson,
  • Novavax.

These vaccines are the only ones recognized to enter Martinique.

Complete vaccination scheme :

A vaccinated person is a person who can attest to the completion of a complete vaccination schedule.

  • 7 days after the 2nd injection for dual injection vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Novavax) ;
  • 28 days after injection for single-injection vaccines (Johnson & Johnson) ;
  • 7 days after injection for vaccines in people with a history of Covid (Only one injection).

Persons 18 years of age or older who have received any of the listed vaccines must take an additional dose (messenger RNA ) at least 9 month after their last injection to keep their complete vaccination schedule.

Authorized tests :

The only antigenic tests that can be validly presented are those allowing the detection of the SARS-CoV-2 protein N.

Air Travel Arrangements for passengers to and from Martinique :

Transit passengers are subject to the travel regulations of the stopover destination. Airlines must ensure compliance with this measure during pre-boarding screening.

Unvaccinated minors can travel without compelling reasons, they do not have to present a vaccination certificate or self-isolate if they are accompanying a vaccinated adult.

Children under the age of twelve are exempt from testing. They must also report no symptoms of covid-19 infection or contact with a confirmed covid-19 case.

Any passenger 12 years of age or older must present a negative result of a PCR test less than 72 hours old or antigenic screening test for SARS-CoV-2 N protein performed less than 48 hours prior to boarding.

Non vaccinated persons :

Any passenger aged of 12 years or older must :

  • justify a compelling personal or family reason, an urgent health reason or a professional reason that cannot be postponed ;
  • present a negative result of a PCR test less than 72 hours old or antigenic screening test for SARS-CoV-2 N protein performed less than 48 hours prior to boarding.
  • accept that a screening test can be performed upon arrival at Aimé Cesaire airport.

Passengers to France main land

Passengers coming from and going to Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélemy

Any person aged 12 years or older travelling between Martinique and Guadeloupe by air shall present one of the following three health documents upon boarding

  • complete vaccination scheme
  • a negative result of a PCR test less than 72 hours old or antigenic screening test for SARS-CoV-2 N protein performed less than 48 hours prior to boarding.
  • proof of recovery from covid-19, at least 11 days old and less than 6 months old.
